The Substance Abuse Counselor will facilitate curriculum-based psychoeducation groups and provide addiction counseling services. They are also responsible for completing intake assessments and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with agency standards.
Candidates must hold an associate degree or higher in a human services field and possess a valid Wisconsin SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC credential. Experience working with correctional populations is preferred, along with a valid driver's license.

This role focuses on group therapy for individuals navigating substance use disorder and supporting their recovery journey. You’ll work with referrals from Rock County, the Department of Corrections, and self-referrals.
