The Nurse Practitioner will plan, direct, and evaluate resident and employee healthcare in long-term care settings, requiring daily travel to various facilities within the region. Responsibilities include examining and treating acute and chronic wound-related issues, interpreting diagnostics, referring to physicians, writing prescriptions, and performing necessary bedside procedures like debridement.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree of Nursing and hold a current, unrestricted APRN license or be able to obtain one before hire, along with current RN licensure in the state. Essential requirements include successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program, proof of Covid vaccination, and strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
