The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care, including assisting with exams, collecting patient history, and managing clinical documentation. They also maintain the clinical environment by sterilizing equipment, restocking supplies, and ensuring efficient patient flow.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related healthcare experience. A current certification as a Medical Assistant, C.N.A, or EMT is required, along with Basic Life Support certification.
