The Ultrasound Technician prepares patients and equipment to perform accurate ultrasound procedures according to established practices. They maintain a safe environment, assist physicians with contrast media, and ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to patient confidentiality standards.
Candidates must have completed a formal sonography technology training program. A current State of Texas license and ARRT or RDMS registry are preferred, and Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of employment.
