The Patient Placement Counselor conducts assessments to determine appropriate levels of care and manages the pre-admission process for patients. They also provide crisis management services and ensure accurate documentation within the electronic health record system.
Candidates must hold at least a bachelor's degree or an associate's degree with a MN LADC, along with a completed addiction counseling certificate. Applicants are required to have at least two years of freedom from chemical use problems and possess relevant state licensure.
LMHC, LMFC, LCSW, LPC, LPCC or related field licensure Minimum 2 yrs experience providing alcohol and drug counseling (supervised internship applies) Minimum 1 yr experience assessments for all levels of care
