Performs technical pediatric radiographic procedures under the direction of a radiologist using various diagnostic equipment. Maintains accurate documentation, inventory control, and participates in LEAN improvement activities to ensure patient safety and quality.
Requires an Associate's Degree and graduation from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program. Must hold current ARRT registration and Kansas state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
Performs radiographic procedures per department protocol. Able to utilize and be completely competent with fluoroscopy, C-arm, portable exams, bone density and all diagnostic equipment. Performs essential RIS/HIS functions. Performs and maintains LEAN practices as it relates to Patient Safety and Quality. Assists radiologist in all appropriate procedures. Maintains accurate inventory control functions. Maintains all appropriate paperwork. Additional responsibilities for 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Technologist 5:30 AM Technologist (5:30 AM person). General Diagnostic Call Technologist.

The pay range for this job begins at $28.25/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience. Remote Work/Work from Home This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
