The Annual Wellness RN provides timely and efficient patient care by utilizing nursing assessment skills and clinical protocols. Responsibilities include telephone triage, medication refills, new consult evaluations, and performing clerical and environmental duties to support the practice.
Candidates must have an associate degree in nursing and a valid Michigan RN license. A minimum of one year of experience as an RN is required for this position.
A variety of shared responsibilities in a busy practice. What you will do: AWV Telephone triage Medication Refill New consult evaluation Patient education Performs clerical functions, all functions of a Medical Assistant, and environmental duties to support team objectives What you will need: Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program Associate degree in nursing required, BSN preferred. In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire Licensed in the State of Michigan 1 years of experience as an RN required if new grad must apply to RN residency that takes place three times a year in February, July and October Specialty credentialing preferred according to clinical nursing practice specialty area preferred Please completely fill out the application and upload resume.
