The counselor will provide therapeutic services to children and teens dealing with issues such as trauma, anxiety, and grief. The role involves working as part of a clinical team and conducting sessions both in-person and via telehealth.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field and possess or be eligible for a Pennsylvania clinical license. At least one year of clinical experience working with children is required, along with a trauma-informed approach to care.
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field, required. Current, active, PA clinical license (LPC or LCSW) or licensure (LSW, LAPC) with ability to obtain clinical licensure within first year of hire required. Minimum of one year experience in clinical work with children required. Strong knowledge of mental health conditions and evidence based therapeutic interventions for treatment required. Strong knowledge of the impact of trauma and trauma informed interventions required. Strong ability to build rapport with and communicate with all clients, regardless of age, preferred gender, sexual orientation, or other belief systems required. Experience working with children with a range of concerns including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, loss, foster care or adoption preferred.
