Provide comprehensive periodontal and preventative dental services to patients at the Wewoka Indian Health Center. Maintain dental equipment, manage supplies, and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure efficient patient care.
Requires 2-5 years of experience as a dental hygienist and a degree or certification from an ADA-accredited program. Must hold a current, unrestricted license to practice dental hygiene and certification in nitrous oxide and local anesthesia.
2-5 years of experience as a dental hygienist. Completion of a course of study in dental hygiene accredited by the American Dental Association as evidenced by a degree or certification. A valid, current, and unrestricted license to practice dental hygiene in a State of the United States of America. A valid, current, and unrestricted certification in nitrous oxide and local anesthesia.
May be required to work after hours and weekend clinic to meet the needs of the communities we serve. Shall maintain standards of personal hygiene and grooming such that his/her image as a physician is compatible with the expectations of the on-site supervisor. Shall be required to develop familiarity and abide by current policies, procedures, by-laws, and regulation of the on-site clinical and medical staff. Excellent written and oral communication skills Shall possess sufficient initiative, interpersonal relationship skills and social sensitivity such that he/she can relate constructively to patients of the Native American/Alaska Native communities.
