Manage inpatient care for adult patients from admission through discharge in a team-oriented clinical environment. Coordinate care with specialists and nursing staff while maintaining accurate and compliant medical documentation.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and be Board Certified or Board Eligible. Previous hospitalist or inpatient experience is preferred along with strong communication and care coordination skills.
Overview We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician to provide inpatient care in a structured and team-oriented clinical environment in Shiprock, NM. What You’ll Do Manage inpatient care for adult patients from admission through discharge Perform admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning Coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
What We’re Looking For MD or DO in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospitalist or inpatient experience preferred Strong communication and care coordination skills Comfortable working in a rural or community-focused setting
