The Medical Physicist will be responsible for providing high-quality care in radiation therapy and ensuring the safe and effective use of radiation equipment. They will work closely with a team of radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and therapists to treat patients.
Candidates must have a Master's degree in Medical Physics and completed a CAMPEP approved residency. They should be board eligible and have a minimum of 2 years of experience, with a strong clinical background preferred.
Master’s degree in Medical physics from an accredited college or university. Completed a CAMPEP approved residency, Board eligible and be in the process of obtaining certification by the American Board of Radiology Eligibility for a Texas license Minimum of 2 years of experience (including residency) Willing to consider an entry- or mid-level candidate with strong clinical background. A working knowledge of SRS, SBRT, and HDR Experience with Varian linear accelerators Strong organization and oral / written communication skills The ability to travel on an occasional, as needed, basis
