The Occupational Therapist will provide and supervise occupational therapy services to patients in their homes as prescribed by physicians. Responsibilities include instructing patients and families in daily living activities and managing falls risk through evaluation and education.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and hold a current OT license from the NYS Department of Education. A minimum of one year of practical experience as a licensed occupational therapist is also required.
Role and Responsibilities
Direct, supervise, evaluate and provide occupational therapy services to patients in the home as prescribed by the attending physician.

The Occupational Therapist is primarily a non-office setting and may be exposed to outdoor conditions.
• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Medium work involves sitting and standing.
