The MRI Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic MRI procedures and assists with department policy implementation and preceptor duties. They are responsible for maintaining quality assurance and performing various imaging tasks including biopsies and trauma alerts.
Candidates must have completed a 2-year Radiology Technology program or an AMRIT program and hold a valid Radiology Technologist License. Applicants are required to be ARRT registered or MRI registry eligible and possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Technical Program Completion of 2-year program in Radiology Technology from an accredited school or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (AMRIT) Program Radiology Technologist License Registered American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) & MRI registry eligible Or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (AMRIT) certified Basic Life Support (BLS) certification One (1) year progressive responsibility in an MRI diagnostic imaging environment.
