The Certified Nursing Assistant performs routine bedside nursing care, including bathing, feeding, and monitoring vital signs to ensure resident health and safety. They also maintain resident care records and communicate significant changes in condition to the nurse supervisor.
Candidates must hold an active CNA certification issued by the State Department of Health Nurse Aide Certification Program. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with the ability to follow oral and written instructions.

The primary purpose of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is to perform various resident care activities related to nursing principles and standards to meet the health, welfare, and safety of the residents. The position also performs related non-professional services necessary to meet the physical, psychological, social, emotional, and religious needs of the residents.
