The Psychiatrist I will provide care and treatment to persons in state custody at the Oklahoma Forensic Center, which includes preparing initial intake assessments and developing treatment plans. Responsibilities also involve managing psychotropic medication, conducting ongoing assessments, providing psychoeducation, writing medical orders, and participating in on-call coverage.
Applicants must be licensed to practice medicine in Oklahoma and be Board eligible or certified in psychiatry. Candidates must also pass an OSBI background check and possess a valid driver's license to fulfill job-related travel.
