The Intake Social Worker provides client-centered support by managing walk-in and phone inquiries, conducting intake assessments, and providing case management. They also support outreach efforts, including workshops and community events, to connect older adults and adults with disabilities to essential resources.
Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related human services field and have prior experience in client engagement or social service delivery. Proficiency in computer systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse populations are required.

The Intake Social Worker at the Jona Goldich Multipurpose Senior Center provides responsive and client-centered support to individuals seeking social services, community-based assistance, and information and referrals. This role is responsible for managing both phone and walk-in inquiries, conducting intake assessments, and providing short-term case management support as needed. The position also supports outreach activities, including community workshops, information sessions, and engagement events designed to connect older adults and adults with disabilities to essential services and resources.
