The Respiratory Care Assistant performs basic respiratory competencies including aerosol delivery, airway clearance, and patient monitoring. They also assist with special procedures such as CPR and equipment setup while maintaining patient health information standards.
Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited respiratory care program and hold a current Ohio Limited Practice Permit. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
