The Program Assistant supports special needs adults with daily activities, crafts, and community outings while maintaining a safe environment. They are also responsible for observing and reporting on participant progress and transporting individuals using an agency vehicle.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license. The role requires obtaining and maintaining certifications in Crisis Prevention Intervention, First Aid, and CPR.

Day Program Instructor - Part-time - Monday through Friday

Lifesteps is expanding services in Washington County and has an immediate need for several Day Program Aides or Developmental Disability Aide in Eighty Four, PA.
Have fun while you work and bring joy into the lives of the adult program participants! The Program Aide/Instructor is responsible for assisting special needs adults with activities such as crafts, community outings and life skills.
Staff observe and report on the accomplishments of participants, while maintaining a safe and clean environment and the day program aide transports participants when in the community using an Agency vehicle for learning, engagement and fun activities.
Part-time - Monday through Friday - 7: 15 am to 2:00 pm Program Assistant
