The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates and treats patients while maintaining accurate medical records and communicating with the healthcare team. They also supervise assistants, conduct staff training, and participate in patient care conferences and discharge planning.
Candidates must hold a master’s or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology and possess a valid state license. Proficiency in computer programs like Casamba and Point Click Care is required, along with the ability to meet state-specific continuing education standards.
