Spring Mountain Treatment Center is a 110-bed mental health facility providing acute crisis stabilization services for adults, teens, and children in a secure inpatient setting since 2001.
Our individualized treatment includes a structured, therapeutic environment, intensive physician involvement and oversight, and daily group and educational programs.

We are currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as a full-time Admissions Rep.
The Admissions Rep is primarily responsible for the admission and/or registration of patients into the facility and maintaining communication between the organization and the patient referrals and family.
Must possess strong telecommunications skills and critical thinking ability.
Job Duties/Responsibilities Review prospective admission against approved admission criteria, policies and procedures.
Initiate contact to gather required clinical and demographic data from patients and other sources.
Respond promptly to inquiry calls.
Refer inquiries to other agencies and community resources when not appropriate for facility assistance and admission.
Coordinate with referral sources.
Coordinate transportation arrangements for patients.
Responsible for maintaining all the documentation involved with the admission process.
Ensure timeliness of phone calls to achieve admissions.
Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelors Degree in Social Work or Behavior Sciences preferred; or equivalent work experience. Health insurance knowledge and experience working with health insurances and claims required. A minimum of two years’ experience in a hospital setting; one year Intake experience preferred. Experience and knowledge of working with health insurances required. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served in the assigned unit/department. Strong telecommunication skills and critical thinking ability. This position requires computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet and database programs. Able to demonstrate knowledge of organizational structure and programs provided by the hospital.
