The CRNA will evaluate patients to develop anesthetic plans and administer appropriate anesthesia dosages during various medical procedures. They will also coordinate with the healthcare team to monitor patient responses and ensure safe recovery following surgery.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nurse anesthesia program and hold valid state RN and APRN licenses. Additionally, they are required to have at least 2 years of inpatient anesthesia experience and hold current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
Graduate of accredited nurse anesthesia program Valid state RN License (must meet education requirement(s) for state licensure) Valid state APRN Recognition (must meet education requirement (s) for state recognition and obtain within six (6) months of hire) Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association Certified Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Current BLS 2+ years of anesthesia care in an inpatient setting Driver’s License and access to a reliable transportation Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $190,000 - $287,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.
