The incumbent is responsible for performing a full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals. They must also operate and maintain scintillation equipment while ensuring timely patient throughput and quality care.
Candidates must have at least one year of full-time experience as a CNMT and be a graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program. Required credentials include a California CNMT license, NMTCB or AART (N) certification, and current BLS certification.
Your Role on the Team
Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, incumbent is responsible for the performance of the full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and related chemical substances. Responsible for the provision of quality patient care, including the timely throughput of patients and the performance of their exams. Operates and performs quality control of stationary and portable scintillation equipment including, gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, well counters, dose calibration devices and ancillary equipment. Requirements include working On-Call and working rotating shifts . Knowledge of State regulatory radiation safety practices and the principles of ALARA.

Minimum 1 year, full time experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures. Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
