Assess the physical and psychological status of patients to formulate nursing diagnoses and supervise assigned care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide essential education to patients and their families.
Requires a current Massachusetts nursing license and Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association. Emergency Department experience is preferred, along with the ability to perform under stressful situations.

Duties/Responsibilities Assess physical, mental, and psychological status of patient using age-appropriate knowledge. Plans, evaluates and supervises care of all patients assigned. Works collaboratively with other disciplines in care of patients. Participates in formal and informal educational programs to improve technical skills. Responsible for continued learning and application to practice. Synthesizes patient care information to formulate appropriate nursing diagnosis. Responsible to provide patient and family education. Work practice reflects philosophy purpose and policies of the hospital and department. Minimum Requirements: Current MA license; Current Emergency Department Nursing experience preferred; Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Demonstrates clinically competent assessment skills; demonstrates ability to perform under stressful situations; proven leader; demonstrated problem solver and excellent organizational skills; communicates effectively; demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills Pay Range: $37.14 - $82.22 This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
