The Transitional Living Specialist manages a caseload and implements life skills curriculum for youth in scattered site housing. They are responsible for conducting home visits, coordinating therapeutic services, and providing crisis on-call support.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a human services field and be at least 21 years old. A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass comprehensive background screenings are required.

Status: Non-exempt
Works in an office and community setting on a regular basis. May require prolonged standing and walking, climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 pounds. May be required to serve as after-hours, crisis on-call periodically throughout the month that may include weekends and holidays.
Manages a predetermined caseload and responsible for the direct administration and implementation of Transitional Living services to youth residing in community scattered site housing. Present life skills curriculum and education in a one on one or group format.
Bachelor’s degree in human services field required. Must be over the age of 21. Experience in human services field is beneficial.
Must hold a valid driver’s license, have and maintain a risk-free driving record. Must be willing to undergo initial and periodic child abuse/neglect, criminal history, sexual offender, and child care/elder care disqualification list screenings. As requested, must submit fingerprints for review by the state of your employment and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Must undergo a pre-employment drug screen and a pre-employment physical with the results showing no evidence of communicable disease.
