The Psychiatric APRN will conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized medication management plans for patients across the lifespan. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated, patient-centered care for various behavioral health conditions.
Candidates must hold an active, unrestricted APRN or PMHNP license in Connecticut and possess a valid DEA registration. Experience working with children and adolescents in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting is required.

Conduct psychiatric assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. Develop and implement individualized medication management plans. Monitor treatment response, side effects, and adherence, making adjustments as needed. Educate patients and families on psychiatric medications, potential side effects, and treatment expectations. Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and school-based professionals when appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development. Provide crisis intervention support as needed.
Active and unrestricted APRN or PMHNP license in the state of Connecticut. Experience working with children and adolescents in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting is required. Ability to practice independently (must not require MD collaboration in the state of Connecticut). Valid and current DEA registration. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills. Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills. Must agree to be 1099/Independent Contractor with a competitive percentage split compensation model. Flexible work from home options available.
