Operate MRI scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. Work independently with minimal supervision to ensure accurate patient positioning and equipment functionality.
Requires graduation from an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology School and board certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. A minimum of 2 years of related experience is preferred along with proficiency in medical terminology and sterile techniques.
To operate MRI scanners, obtaining diagnostic images of specified body part as requested. The technologist must be able to produce quality images to present to the radiologist for interpretation and be able to function independently with minimal supervision.
