The Physician Assistant will manage trauma and emergency general surgery admissions, perform daily patient rounds, and coordinate follow-up care and discharges. They will also perform clinical procedures such as central line placement and chest tube insertion while collaborating with a multidisciplinary surgical team.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies and possess an active Maryland Physician Assistant license with NCCPA certification. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in trauma, critical care, or acute care surgery is highly desirable, along with current BLS and ACLS certifications.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trauma Acute Care Physician Assistant to join our dynamic Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team. In this fast-paced role, you will provide exceptional care to patients with acute and critical injuries, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in our busy Level III Trauma Center.
