About the Role

Join BrightStar Care of Conejo Valley and Coastal Los Angeles as a Licensed Nurse and provide compassionate, in-home care to patients of all ages—children, adults, and older adults. Shift Details

• Saturdays 10pm to 10am
• Located in Simi Valley

Responsibilities

• Perform and manage catheter care, including maintenance, monitoring, and infection prevention
• Provide skilled nursing care in patients’ homes across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician
• Monitor and assess patient health status, vital signs, and clinical progress
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, medication management, catheter care, and home care techniques
• Respond promptly and professionally to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance clinical competency

Requirements

• Current California LVN license.
• Experience in home health, hospice, or in-home care preferred.
• Experience caring for adults with physical disabilities.
• Must have experience providing catheter care, including proper maintenance, monitoring, and infection prevention in a clinical or home health setting.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
