Job Description

The Reasons Virtual Program Therapist performs functions including assisting adult and adolescent patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to access their optimal level of emotional health through therapeutic treatment, comprising individual therapy, psych diagnostic assessment, teaching, completing specialized clinical social work services for patients receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, group therapy, milieu management, and providing information and referrals as needed. Key Responsibilities include: Formulate and conduct educational, therapeutic, and/or support groups online. Communicate effectively with patients, families, health care team members and community providers regarding resident status and progress. Interact and communicate with community agencies in assessment of and service to patients. Provide liaison and referral services to community agencies and appears in court when requested or subpoenaed.
