The Licensed Professional Counselor will serve as a consultant in long-term care facilities, providing individual and group psychotherapy sessions and completing necessary screenings. Key duties also involve developing individualized treatment plans, providing education, and collaborating with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams while maintaining compliant documentation.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work and be a Licensed Professional Counselor capable of practicing and billing independently with an active state license. Significant experience treating adult and/or senior patients, especially those with severe persistent mental illness, is required, along with strong communication skills.
