The Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications, including intravenous admixtures. Additionally, the role involves performing medication reconciliation by interviewing patients and families to document accurate medication and allergy histories.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and obtain CPHT certification within six months of hire. Furthermore, Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration is required by June 28, 2026.
