The Patient Care Technician assists medical staff with patient care, performs visual field testing, and prepares patients for required procedures. They are also responsible for sterilizing instruments, maintaining medical supplies, and cleaning clinical areas.
Candidates should have at least six months of related experience and a current American Heart Association BLS certificate. Completion of a Patient Care Technician program is preferred.

Under supervision, performs routine non-professional and professional care; unbagging and bagging equipment, make up post op kits, direct doctors and patients to the appropriate rooms, assist medical staff with patient care, perform visual fields, setup patients for required testing, keep instruments and equipment sterilized, maintain adequate supplies and keep front and back waiting rooms in order. Pulling, pushing, cleaning gurneys, cleaning and organizing pre-op/post-op rooms.
