The Surgical Center Technician manages surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment while anticipating the needs of the surgeon during procedures. They are responsible for maintaining aseptic techniques, ensuring patient safety, and assisting the surgical team with instrument and supply handling.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and be a graduate of a nationally accredited surgical technologist program with a current certification. A minimum of two years of experience as a surgical technician is preferred, along with current BLS certification.
IVI RMA North America has an opening for a Per Diem Surgical Cener Technician working 2 shifts per month including at least one weekend day. These are 8 hours shifts starting between 6am-8am.
The Surgical Center Technician handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. This individual has an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon.
