The Physician Assistant performs physical and psycho-social assessments, establishes medical diagnoses, and manages follow-up care for patients. They are also responsible for developing treatment plans, ordering diagnostic tests, and providing preventative healthcare and counseling.
Candidates must hold a college degree as a Physician Assistant from a recognized university and possess current NCCPA certification. Additionally, they must be certified by the Georgia State Medical Board and have two to five years of experience in a medical practice setting.

A college degree as a Physician’s Assistant from a recognized university, affiliated with a medical school. Keyboarding and internet skills, ability to work with electronic medical records, webpages and patient portal. Georgia State Medical Board Certification and adherence to the Medical Practice Act provisions; Current NCCPA certification.
