The Medical Technologist III provides technical and regulatory oversight for one or more laboratory sections. They are also responsible for performing the standard duties of a Medical Technologist II.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's or Associate degree in a clinical laboratory science and hold a valid certification from agencies such as ASCP or AMT. Two years of clinical laboratory experience and a successful color-acuity screening are required.

The Medical Technologist III has responsibility for technical and regulatory over sight of one or more laboratory sections and performs the duties of a Medical Technologist II.
REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution and applicants must be eligible for an appropriate certification examination. Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW) OR Associates Degree in laboratory science (Chemical or Biological Science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution and certification as a Medical Technologist. Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW) OR Graduate of a Military Program in Science (health science, biology, chemical, physical, medical technology) and certification as a Medical Technologist. Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW) OR Grandfathered Medical Technologist by having previously qualified as a technologist on or before February 28, 1992 and current certification as a Medical Technologist. Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW) Two (2) years’ experience in a clinical laboratory Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations. Must submit to a color-acuity screening test prior. PREFERRED Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Work Hours: 8:30p-7a Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis On-Call Requirements: No
