Candidates must hold an active LPN license and possess strong clinical and communication skills. One year of prior professional nursing experience is preferred.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN is responsible for providing high-quality, direct pediatric primary care and supporting healthcare providers through clinical responsibilities in a professional and efficient manner. This role requires proficiency in routine clinical procedures, strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient center-centered approach in a fast-paced medium-sized outpatient primary care pediatric practice.

Provides general nursing care to pediatric patients Obtain and record patient medical histories and vital signs Prepare pediatric patients for examination and assist during exams and procedures Perform point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and lab preparation Administer immunizations to patients of all ages in accordance to the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations Respond to incoming patient treatment-related phone calls and schedule patients appropriately Prepare, disinfect, and maintain examination and treatment rooms Support compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all healthcare regulations Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and regulations to give and evaluate patient care Solid understanding of immunization practices Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Proficient in a variety of administrative tasks including documentation and records management Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to take initiative and demonstrate leadership when needed Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health record systems (eCW) Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic fast-paced environment Committed to providing exceptional patient care and customer service Demonstrates the ability to meet performance goals and deadlines consistently
