The Exercise Physiologist facilitates healthier outcomes for cardiopulmonary patients by evaluating and executing personalized exercise plans. They also provide fitness-related education, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage risk factors.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field and have at least one year of related experience. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and American College of Sports Medicine certification within specified timeframes.
JOB SUMMARY To facilitate healthier outcomes for cardiopulmonary patients by offering fitness and health related programs. Evaluate and execute exercise plan for each cardiopulmonary patient while focusing on risk reduction and behavior intervention and modification.
