• Work Shift Night (United States of America) Wellstar Medical Group is currently seeking a dedicated full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic Critical Care team.
• This is a night-shift position (8 PM to 6 AM) operating on a convenient 7-days-on/7-days-off schedule.
• The float role offers the opportunity to work across multiple locations, including Cobb, Douglas, Kennestone, and Paulding Medical Centers, with nightly location based on patient acuity and census needs.
• Primarily scheduled at either Cobb or Kennestone for the week.
• As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to patients and their families.
• Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, documenting histories and physicals, preparing daily progress notes, and completing discharge summaries.
• Additional duties involve interpreting diagnostic imaging, formulating care plans, writing orders, and performing procedures such as central and arterial line placements.
• Effective communication with patients and families to ensure understanding and support is also a vital part of this role.
