The volunteer provides patient care and support services under the guidance of the Volunteer Coordinator and Case Manager. Responsibilities include serving as a substitute caregiver, performing homemaker chores, running errands, and participating in volunteer support groups.
Candidates should be mature individuals supportive of the hospice concept and willing to serve others. Successful completion of the hospice’s volunteer training and orientation program is required, along with the ability to work within an interdisciplinary group.

The volunteer provides patient care and support services according to his/her experience and training and in compliance with organization policies.
