The Ultrasound Technologist operates high-frequency sound wave equipment to capture internal body images for patients. They are responsible for taking measurements, calculating values, and interpreting diagnostic images in collaboration with physicians.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program and hold ARMDS or ARRT certification. Two years of experience, along with radiology and CT cross-training, are preferred.
