The Nurse Practitioner will conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose, and manage neonatal patients in a Level IV NICU setting. They will also collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans and provide support to families.
Candidates must hold a current Nurse Practitioner license in Florida and possess strong clinical assessment skills. Experience in neonatal care is preferred, and certification in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is considered a plus.

As a Locum NP in Neonatology, you will play a crucial role in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of neonatal patients, working closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for infants in need of specialized care. Conduct comprehensive assessments and physical examinations of neonates Develop and implement individualized care plans for neonatal patients Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare team members Provide education and support to families regarding neonatal care Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida Experience in neonatal care or related field preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational and time management skills Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is a plus Level IV NICU
Schedule: 7a-8p or 7p-8a
No call requirement
Patient Volume: 8-12 per shift
