Candidates must hold an associate degree in nursing or a related field along with current NP or PA certification and state licensure. Experience in critical care or emergency medicine is preferred, and proficiency in electronic health record systems is required.

As a Locum NP/PA in Critical Care, you will play a crucial role in delivering patient-centered care, assisting in the management of critically ill patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of critically ill patients Implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals Administer medications and perform medical procedures as needed Educate patients and families about health management and treatment options Document patient care accurately in electronic health records Participate in quality improvement initiatives Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families
Associate degree in Nursing or related field Current NP or PA certification and state licensure Experience in critical care or emergency medicine preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in electronic health record systems Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule: 6:30p-6:30a, 7 on/7 off
No call shifts required
Patient Volume: 28 per shift
Required Procedures: Arterial lines, intubations, central lines, vent management
ECMO and GME experience preferred
Support Staff: APPs, MD on call
Must be board-certified
