The Nurse Practitioner assesses, diagnoses, and manages acute and chronic health conditions while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans. They also provide patient education on disease prevention and maintain accurate clinical documentation in electronic health records.
Candidates must hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing and possess an unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the United States. Additionally, current BLS and ACLS certifications are required along with demonstrated clinical experience.
The Nurse Practitioner plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare across diverse clinical settings. They are responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing acute and chronic health conditions, providing both primary and specialty care to patients of all ages. This role requires collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote wellness and disease prevention. NPs also educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease management, and lifestyle modifications to improve overall health outcomes.
