The Locum MD will conduct cardiovascular assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress in a clinical setting. They will also collaborate with healthcare professionals and educate patients on cardiovascular health.
Candidates must hold a Medical Doctor (MD) degree and be board-certified in Cardiology. An active medical license in the state of practice and associate-level experience in a cardiology setting are required.
This contract position is on-site, offering a unique opportunity to work closely with patients and medical staff in a dynamic healthcare environment.
As a Locum MD in Cardiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions, providing quality care to patients while collaborating with healthcare professionals. Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and diagnostic evaluations Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiac conditions Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health and preventive measures Participate in case discussions and contribute to team-based care Maintain accurate and detailed medical records Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiology and medical practices
Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited institution Board certification in Cardiology Associate-level experience in a cardiology setting Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiovascular diseases Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care Active medical license in the state of practice
Schedule: 24-hour STEMI call coverage
Patient Volume: 1 per shift
Annual Volume: ~240 STEMI cases
Must be board-certified
