Provide direct, age-specific care to pediatric patients under the direction of a physician and licensed practitioner. Responsibilities include emotional support, problem solving, and adhering to hospital and unit policies.
Requires a High School Diploma and a current Medical Assistant Certification from a recognized national professional association. Preferred candidates have a degree from an accredited Medical Assisting program and 2-3 years of experience.
