Salary
$18 - $26 / HOUR
Focuses on team and patient care, including patient handling, assisting with treatments, and maintaining surgical and anesthesia equipment. Responsibilities also include cleaning supplies and accurately entering service charges into the database.
Requires a minimum of 1 year of veterinary assistant experience in an emergency or critical care setting. Candidates must be able to lift 40 lbs and stand for up to 12 hours.
Description Partner Veterinary is looking for Emergency Veterinary Assistants to join our Richmond, VA team!

Minimum 1 year Veterinary Assistant experience in an emergency or critical care setting Understanding of veterinary workflows and procedures Exposure to, or knowledge of Fear-Free techniques and philosophies preferred A curious and motivated energy Interest in collaborating with the teams across the Partner network
Ability to quickly process, analyze, and react to unplanned and emergent medical situations without delay, so as to ensure the safety of team members and patients Ability to stand for up to 12 hours with limited breaks Able to lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance
