Assists in providing basic and intermediate nursing care to a diverse group of patients across various hospital units. Ensures patients receive compassionate support and comfort throughout their healthcare journey.
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing school in the 3rd or 4th semester and have completed a basic clinical skills lab. Requires BLS certification within 3 months of employment.
Assists in providing basic and intermediate nursing care to assigned group of patients.
General Nursing Units care for patients from age 15 years to maturity by clinically competent nursing staff.
Special Care Areas care for patients age 15 years through adult with high risk conditions by clinical competent nursing staff.
Labor and Delivery care includes patients who have a pregnancy related condition by staff who are clinically competent in maternity care. Nursery care includes care for newborn until discharge status by clinically competent staff. Pediatric clinically competent staff provides care to patients neonate through age of fourteen.
Emergency Unit provides care to presenting patients of all ages by clinically competent staff in pediatric and high risk adult care.
Able to work at least eight hours per week. May work shift in increments of 4, 8, 10 and 12 hours as assigned. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
