Ambulatory Care Nurse, Infusion

Overview

• The Ambulatory Care Nurse, Infusion is responsible for providing physician support and as applicable, comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families.
• This RN position is responsible for providing skilled, exceptional patient care through the administration and monitoring of all infusion therapy services within the infusion suite.
• This position works collaboratively with practice management and the Clinical Supervisor to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies in the delivery of patient care services.
• The position will perform duties within the scope of practice, ensuring consistency with hospital and WakeMed Physician Practices policies and procedures, standards of care, standing orders and evidence-based guidelines.
• The position will also adhere to practice standards governed by all applicable state, federal and regulatory agencies.
• The Ambulatory Care Nurse, Infusion understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed Physician Practices.
