The Direct Support Professional provides one-on-one assistance to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and the community. Responsibilities include helping clients build independent living skills, supporting community engagement, and maintaining accurate documentation of progress.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in caregiving or support services and possess a high school diploma or GED. A valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check are mandatory.
