The veterinarian will examine, diagnose, and treat pets medically and surgically while maintaining accurate medical records. They will also collaborate with the veterinary team and provide counseling to clients regarding pet health and vaccinations.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and be able to obtain a Maine veterinary license. While internship training is preferred, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
